Coin Toss Simulator for Fixed Fraction Betting
This is a simulator for coin toss betting where you bet a fixed fraction of your bankroll on each toss of the coin. Enter the probability of winning, the return, and the loss. You can then calculate the kelly fraction (the optimal fraction to bet to make your bankroll grow as fast as possible with minimal chance of ruin). Enter the fraction that you actually want to bet, the number of bets you want to play and then press the simulate button. The simulation always assumes a starting bankroll of $1.
In a common coin toss bet return = 1 and loss = -1. This means that you win $1 for each $1 bet and you lose everything. If you win $2 for each $1 bet and you lose only half of what you bet then return = 2 and loss = -0.5. For more information on coin toss bets see The Coin Toss Bet
